My Printable CEO Journal
Posted February 28th, 2008 by NikI was so thrilled by David's printable CEO series that I wanted to use it's sheets everyday.
So I decided not to buy this year any journal from a bookstore, but to make one myself. By searching diy projects and ideas I had the inspiration to make one custom journal myself by using David's printable CEO series sheets.
So I printed out Din A4 with two sheets of each.
I printed the "Concrete Goals Tracker" for every week and the "Emergent Task Planner" for every day of the year.
I also printed in one Din A4 sheet the "compact calendar" to have with one look everything under control.
So like you see in the photos I cut the Din A4 sheets into half so this became a good fat journal.
I want to thank David for these projects and to tell him to continue these projects.
Have an organized day :)
Now I can track everything I want and need.

How to get the most out of your creativity
Posted January 25th, 2008 by NikImage courtesy of Campin' Guy
This post is about how you can get the most of your creativity and your creative mind
Beeing a fan of Apple's Macintosh computers, I had a conversation with a very good friend. Why is a Mac better than a Pc in multimedia, video/audio proccessing, graphic design, 3D animations etc ?
My friend provided the answer.
"Pc's and Mac's are the same" he clamed.
"You can use photoshop here and photoshop there, there is no difference at all"
You are right I said, Photoshop is the same. But think also of the other capabilities and featurees a Mac has.
Without any thoughts my friend answered "Well on my pc I can get the best software for image, video, audio proccessing I need. Why should I buy a Mac?"
So without having any strong argument I answered him with an example.

The days are passing before our eyes without to accomplish what we want. You should organise your life if you want to get things done.
For example you have for today to call 2 people, to meet another 2 and have to get done about 3 tasks.
How much of this do you thing that you will have done by the end of the day.
Come on you know the answer. About 2 or 3. If you don't organise your tasks you will never find the time nor the motive to get them done.

Smile :)

A Smile costs nothing, but gives much
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever
None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it,
and none is so poor, but that he can be made rich by it
A Smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business,

See how easily you can clean the air of your room or office
Posted October 22nd, 2007 by Nik
The air in our homes and offices becomes more and more polluted. If the rooms are not aired enough, after a period of time the CO2 levels are very high. Also there are more factors that poison our environment. Smoke from cigarettes, dust from computers, radiation, etc are making our working environment more as a gas oven.

Visual Test Dancing Lady
Posted October 9th, 2007 by Nik
If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.
If you try to see it the other way and if you do see, your IQ isabove 160 which is almost a genius.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE. BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN.

Firefox addons to increase productivity
Posted September 15th, 2007 by NikThere are a bunch of extensions that you can use for fun or for your convenience. But I've marked some that are increasing our productivity, our concentration to our work, and decrease our wasted time.

I will list the extensions by Alphabetical order.
Powerful and user-friendly "selector" utility for selecting elements and doing various actions on them. It can be used for cleaning up a page prior to printing it (by removing and isolating elements), for making the page more readable, and (most appreciated by web developers), for analyzing the structure of a page.

BBCodeXtra is an extension, compatible with Mozilla FireFox and Mozilla Suite, which adds to the context menu new commands to insert BBCode/Html/XHtml codes in an easy and fast way.
CoLT adds two menu items to the browser's context menu, both of which are only visible when right-clicking a hyperlink. Me as a Salesman
Posted May 17th, 2007 by NikToday it was an exciting day. I 'll explain you why. Yesterday I met with the headmaster of a magazine which is distributed via a cd rom. Yes it's not printed on paper. He suggested me to be "salesman" for the marketing department of the magazine. Keep in mind that it's not a huge magazine but it covers almost all Greece.
My job is to find sponsors for this cd rom. I have to go from one business to another to collect sponsorships.
Today it was my first day, and I write in the past cause this day is gone for me.
